I just bought some new wheels for my e30. they are 17x7.0 et25. These are a direct fit wheel no spacers or anything. I have made my mind up on what tire to buy but I'm not sure if a 225/45 will fit without rolling the fenders? If I have to roll them for that size I will just go with some 215/45's if that isn't too much.

225/45R17 is a e36 size. Its way too tall for a e30.
The perfect tire for a 17x7 is 215/40R17.
That said I am running 225/45R17 front and 245/40R17 rear on my car, because the tires came with the wheels. The front tires do rub the brake duct baking plates enough that I've worn holes through them.Tenured Automotive Service Professional - Avid BMW Enthusiast
