    Wheel opinions?

I am thinking about getting these wheels... They are 15X7 and come with bad dry rotted tires because the wheels haven't been used it a long time. I think they are a step up from my bottle caps but still arent great. I would need to clean them up and paint them maybe. Suggestions on what I should pay since they will need some work before they are mounted with new tires.
I mounted them one day just to see what they looked like.

they arent great but they are relatively cheap (hopefully I can talk him down to a more reasonable price than the 300 hes asking) and defenitely are better than bcaps. Opinions on price and opinions on them are both welcome.

What kind of wheels are they? $300 seems a bit much for them.

Offer him $150. Pay what you feel they are worth. They aren't great, but not awful either. If they aren't heavy, get them.

Meh. I don't think they're a much of a step up from the bottlecaps, if at all. 15" Euro weaves usually go for ~$400 or so. Just save up and get those. Or even brand new Konig Imagines in 15x7 are $120/wheel. Much better than those wheels.

they look pretty heavy/thick visually at least. Who knows what they really weigh.

I am thinking about getting them and having them sandblasted and then paint the middle a medium silver/grey and then polishing the lip. but im still not sure.

I've figured out why I don't like them. My subconscious memory stirred up memories of Integras.

                        Those wheels are pretty ugly.

If you aren't 100% happy with them, why bother buying them?
It's not a stepup from bottlecaps at all - I think b-caps are better. Basketweaves on the other hand wouldn't be a bad upgrade though.

if you want weaves I might be getting some new rims today so we might be able to work something out. My weaves are already painted already. They were marked off great but there are a few chips in the paint but nothing really noticable...haha expecially w/ brake dust on em like there is right now. If you wanted though I could sand blast them. Just let me know...I don't really need to sell then but $ would help my turbo setup fund/fixing my back window fund.
