You could also piece together a set of 4 17x8. Just find someone who wants to run 17x9's all the way around and trade. It won't be hard at all on bimmerforums.

Style 32's from the E39 were 17x9 in the rear. That may be why you don't see too many people running them with adapters. They usually have E30 M3 5 lug or run the Z3 high offset Style 32's which don't look as good, IMO. I just picked up some style 32's for my white M3. I have always liked these wheels 2nd only to style 5's.

Considering selling my style 5's and going with said setup. Found some pics but couldn't tell if they were on 5lug swap or adapters.
