    Will 215/60 14's work w/stock basketweaves

    clearance, etc or too wide for the rim 14x6.5 on my 318is?

    i'm not sure about fitment but they would mess up the spedo I think...so prob only for a auto-x or somethin

      what's the point? what tires come in that size..... bfg radial t/a?? you not going to be very sticky at a treadwear rating of 400 . . . .

      makes more sense to get 205/60-14 which fit and are the right size, and come in more sizes. or even the more practical and cheap 195/60-14 which i personally enjoy

        Yokohamas

        AVS ES100 Yokohamas come in 205/60. I've had two sets on 14" basketweaves with no problem. 1/4" clearance to the strut. Wear is good but some folks think they are noisy. In a 1991 318is who can hear anything anyway. IMO they're good for the money. ($75.00)

          They're actually spot-on for diameter. And fit fine.

          But like Mr. James said, every tire in that size sucks ass.

            I had some on my 87 325is back in 98. they did fit fine, but i took them off before they wore out due to a crappy compound. One centimeter of rubber ain't going to do anything for you that a 205/60 higher quality compound wouldn't do better...
