I have style 5s i wanna put them on a e30 using adapters but the offset and the adapters with the minimum spacing is 18mm... will that even work out???

Unless you pull your fenders a lot, and find the right sized tires...then maybe they won't shred the tires and chip the paint. I would not suggest using them for figment reasons, and I personally wouldn't trust them.

Which style 5's? 18mm isn't that thick, quality adapters are no more likely to break than the wheels they're holding on. Tons of people run setups like this. A guy locally has e38 5's with 25mm adapters and 205/45 (i think).
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

With a minor roll in the rear they will fit no problem with 205/45 tires.
