    Will 17x9 et22 work with stretched tires?

    Looking at buying some bbs rs reps and theyre 17x9 et22. Im thinking they probably will hit on the front but im not sure and cannot find a thread talking about this sizing aha.

    17s always look to big. Id go 16s and stretched at most

      ^ I used to think the same thing until I saw a few e30's slammed on some 17's...Man does it look sexy! But when I say slammed, it needs to be very low to pull off 17's.

          Should work with 215/40 tires. If you do some serious rolling you can squeeze in 225 or 235 tires.

          I had 17x8.5 et20 without rolling. 215 tires btw

            I have 16x9 +12mm and no need to roll. I do have 205x45's though

              I know they look big but I'm stretching the tires and they will hopefully tuck more then my 16's I have on there now

                You're going to need a 7mm spacer at the minimum, possibly even a 10 depending on how thick the rim lip is.

                You could probably get away with 215's, possibly 225's if it's a narrow running tire. If you want to be low enough to pull off the 17's though, get a 205/40.
