Anyone have 16" BBS RG-F's installed?

I currently have 16X7 ASA JS1's (ET25) with 225/45-16 Yoko's installed on my 88 325is, and I'm basically happy with the fit and look. However, I'm seriously researching lightweight 16" wheels to reduce unsprung weight and I also prefer basketweaves on the E30.

I've decided that the 16X7 RG-F is pretty much the perfect wheel for me, but with ET35 (according to Tire Rack), I'm going to need spacers.

Does anyone have 16" RG-F's installed on their E30? If so, did you go with 10mm spacers (which seem to be the logical choice), or are there sources which sell them with proper offset and hub size?

    Any pics and/or advice?

sweet wheel choice i'd say maybe go w/ a 15mm spacer. Those babies are light and spendy.

you may want to look at bbs japan sometimes they have more sizes available. Not sure how you'd get them but you atleast see what sizes are out there. http://www.bbs-japan.co.jp/pro/pro_i.html

Thanks for the info. Do you have any pics of them on the car?

Agree - light weight/heavy price. Pushing $2K on the car. If you are "basically happy" that's a lot of money for a lighter wheel-especially for a street car. As to basketweaves - knock offs. To each his own!

I agree, though being happy with the look and fit is different than being happy with the performance.

Well, since I'm considering basketweaves anyways, I can either spend $1000 for cast wheels, or $2,000 for forged ones. I do HPDE's throughout the year, so I'm basically saying that 10 lbs weight savings/wheel is worth $1,000 to me.

Going with the RG-F seems like a one wheel solution vs. having a set of street wheels and a set of track wheels, which I've also considered doing.

Can you confirm that those are (were) 16X7? What size tires are pictured? What size spacer did you use?

                      Thanks!
