For faces I would say gold, silver or nogaro.

Black bolts can be bad ass.

Haha I'm not a big basketball fan, but I'm doing a sports theme I'd have to go with red and gold or orange and black ;). Sports debating aside, I'm still not 100% convinced. I agree polished lips are classy and seem to be the norm, but painted lips look too nice on other cars (although I haven't found a good e30 shot with painted lips that I loved).

B or C, then there's always my smurf combo. Had the faces painted and bolts powdercoated by Einstein57, I also kept the lips polished, they are a timeless classic.

^Ive been stunned by your color scheme for quite some time. Love the blue on your e30. I guess Im trying to do something unique with my wheels, like what your car offers. Thats the reason why Im considering the painted lips. Oh well, gotta pull the trigger soon, my temporary wheels and tires are rubbing on the slightest dips, gotta get these powdered coated or polished asap. Thanks again for the pic!

Damn, Id love to see those successfully fitted! If thats also an example of a painted lip... count me out. Guess Im not realizing how much different the wheel looks minus the polish. That picture has helped out immensely.

                          Took the wheels apart today:

Going to just re-polish the lips and have them redone like the pic below but with black bolts. New caps just came in from BMW alsom theyll need to be painted to match the powder coated centers, or maybe its just better to have the faces painted also so it all matches? The pic at the very bottom was kinda what I was thinking for a while, but I just dont know if theyd belong on my e30.

After months of being on the racing dynamics 15s, Im very excited to be ready to reassemble my RC090s. Heres what I went with, basically the same as before, but a better gold/ bronze, matching caps, and black bolts:

Im having some trouble reassembling the wheels, only have 1 partially done. Im thinking its because the bolts arent 100% clean, that or the splined part of the wheel is dirty. I might just order new hardware, maybe the spiked black bolts. Not sure yet, all I know is that each bolt is a pain to push through despite things being lined up. I need to remove all the bolts and inspect whats going on. I will post again when theyre 100% done, I cant wait!
