    87' is: tires for 16x8 style 5's

sorry if this has been covered a million times, but i searched and saw little input....

most folks run 205/50's, but i want less stretch and more beef -- thinking about running 225/45's in the front and 245/45's in the back. Realize anything is possible w/ the right suspension set up and fender roll, but curious to know if anyone else is running this set up?

    245/45 is over diameter.

225/45 front and back is awesome. not a lot of stretch if you pick the right tire.

Do a square setup. Staggered is for people who enjoy understeer.

      225/45 is a good choice.

I'm one of those folks that enjoys understeer (run 235/265 on the e46) plus i like the look -- just curious if there are any typical issues w/ running a wider track as far as the geometry is concerned. that vert does look swass though.

You can't compare the E30 to the E46, sorry.

225/45 is an excellent fit to the E30 and plenty of meat.

No doubt, two different animals for sure. That's why i wanted one of each. Thanks for the input, i may just run a square set up given i have square wheels, just reluctant... will be the first time I've done that in a while.

              Thanks all.
