    MSR 229's

Just ordered some gold 15x9 MSR 229's in et15 from Tru Motorsports for the sedan. I've been waiting for pictures of these to pop up mounted on an e30 to no avail. So I decided to go ahead and buy them and take one for R3V. They should be here next Wednesday. I will post test fit pics when they come in. Here's a pic of the car they'll be going on. Just need to figure out what tires to go with and how much fender rolling I'm going to need to do.

Sorry for the delay, the wheels came in Saturday. I'm really happy with them, they are in fact only 15 lbs. Tru Motorsports was fantastic during the whole process. My 205/50's are getting mounted tomorrow, I will get pics of them mounted on the car posted this week.

Likely need some 5mm spacers to clear the front struts. In for pics.

They looked a million times better than the faux carbon fiber decals they came with. I've been to busy to make new shorty caps.

I like the 228s. To bad they are not available in 16-19"

Love the 15x9 fitment. Just needs low.

Are you running spacers up front? I got my 15X9 228s in, and the clearance between the rim and my coilovers is nil.

Yeah I was shocked how much fender gap was left, looks like I'll be sourcing coil overs soon. Spy, I'm running into the same issues with clearance up front. I am about to add the hubcentric rings today to see if that 1-1.5mm's will make a difference. My scrub is light, what tires are you running?

Yeah, I think it will probably need the 5 mm spacer which sucks because I'm pretty sure that will make me need bare minimum a 10 mm spacer in the rear to not look dumb. Luckily I put the stud kit on.
