Do all Falkens run narrow?

    No tire brand is uniform in width across every model line. Nor is every tire within a specific model equally wide. There are Falken 912 and 452 sizes that run wider than average despite the majority of each model's sizes being on the narrow side when compared with other brands.

    Same deal with the Federal 595. It's a common internet truth to read that they run wide, but in some sizes they are a full inch narrower than comparable models in the same size.

    The only way to know for sure, is to do your research. Look up the section width and the measured rim width then compare them to other models. For every 0.5" in additional rim width the tire gains 0.2" of section width, fyi.

        Gosh that's dumb...there should be a standard measurement system...
