    Newbie here needs some wheel help...help me out guys!!!

    Hey guys like I said im a newbie on this forum I have an 88 325 vert I got these rota wheels 15x8 +10 on the front and 15x9 +10 on the rears... the back fits with clearing calipers and all but the fronts aren't clearing the calipers what size spacers would you guys recommend getting.... please help me peeps

      go down to your local hardware. Buy some stainless steel washers, fit them behind the wheel and bolt it on so the wheel bolts go through the washers. You should only need to use 2 wheel bolts with the car supported, it's only just to test fit for clearance. Add more as needed. When you get the right stack of washers to clear the brakes, remove the wheel and measure the thickness of the washers. This will be the spacer size you need. Try and keep at least 3mm clear space between the back and the caliper, 5mm is better again.

      Much better than guessing because my 17x8.5" fronts cleared the original calipers without a problem at ET20, could stick my fingers behind there was that much space. So the shape of the spoke plays a bit of an important part too because mine had way more than 10mm space behind there.
