what lug are the wheels? Make sure you use the correct hardware. Ie: ballseat, coneseat, what have you. Should be fine. Pic of the other side?

i am not sure why they would be tapered on the back like that? I can't see a reason why the wheel wouldn't want to sit flat and flush with the hub face. HAving a taper like that on the front side is normal but back side i don't quite get.

i did a google search and found this pic of someone elses Vega and his holes are solid/flat back.

all i can think is to check with a wheel specialist in your area that does wheel repairs and so on.
