then don't run 205 on 9" unless they are r888 which run very wide. Are your front fenders rolled yet where they are rubbing?

You're right that the second number is a percentage of the first, you must have done your math wrong though.
right now im rubbing on the top front fender liners again im getting new wheels and i just want to make sure i get the right tires for it and from what ive searched i havent found matching sets for staggered. i dont want to go the stretched look either

205/40 is way way way too short for an e30. 215/40 is okay and 205/45 is fine too although they're both slightly small. What's your offsets?

I would run a 205/45 all around, or a 205/45 up front and the 215/45 in back if you want to keep the staggered widths.
maybe im looking into this wrong then. i thought the height its dependent on the width so if you go wider to even it out your height would change. even still i cant find tires for 205 and 215 with the same model. right now i have 16x8 205/50/16 and they rub a shit load so im scared that 45 will still be to tall. im running bridgestone re760s right now on my old wheels.

Can't find tires in my size

I was going to pick up some 16x8 16x9 staggered esm002r wheels but I can't seem to find tires in 205 40 16 and 215 45 16 that are made by the same manufacture. Just wondering what you guys are running or who makes tires in that size for staggered wheels.
Working...
