How do I fix a scrape on a polished lip?

I picked up a set of bbs ra's a couple of weeks ago for $40, 3 are in great condition, but on one when they were removing the tire, they scraped up the polished lip, it isnt too deep, but definately too much to just buff away. Would I use fine grit sand paper, or do I need to start with a fine grinding wheel? I would prefer to keep from messing up the finish around it too much. here are some pics, also these will be for sale once I get them cleaned up and decide what color to repaint the inside

I cant quite tell how deep it is from the pics, but if its something that you can really catch your finger nail on, then you probably need to start with a dremel. then move to finer and finer paper

that looks pretty deep man. is the wheel a 2-piece or just one piece? if it is a 2-piece i would try to contact kodiak and get some new lips for all of them. if it is a one piece, then it looks like you are just gonna have to deal with it. if a tire shop did that to one of my wheels i would have to give them a slap to the face.
