Where to find 215/50's and 225/45's

Ok, I'm looking for 215/50's and can't seem to find them. Discounttiredirect.com says they have no listing and same goes for Tirerack.com

I know they exist cause I have a set on my car right now...Dunlops I believe. They were on the wheels when I got them

The other size is a 225/45, which I was able to find...but the only "street/non track tire" was a Hancook Ventus RS3, which still only has a 140 tread rating and they are a bit pricey. Was hoping for something a little higher for daily use.

Anyone know where I can find these would be greatly appreciated!

225/50/15 is available in some more street-oriented tires for pretty cheap... Falken and Kumho both make them. Bonus points for being the actual correct diameter too.

Yea, I can find the 225/50's all day long. Its finding a 225/45 in those same tires that's difficult.

The 215/50 is even harder!

Sounds like your looking for something a bit less sticky though, not sure there's too much out there.

I wanted a slightly smaller sidewall for better clearance. Just didn't want to sacrifice traction or spend a ridiculous amount.

Still having trouble with the 215/50's. I ended up with the 225/50 in the rear but my wheels are staggered.
