So I basically need tires for my e36 205/40r17. I don't even know which to buy. I live in Texas so I need some summer tires for the daily. I don't track this car or push it hard mainly just long drives. I have been looking at tire rack recently and reading the reviews but I wanted to see the opinion of the fellow r3v members. looking to spend around 150 or so a tire. thanks

Originally posted by Cabrioletdude, this is R3v. there's like 40 project threads, and like 20 FS threads and 100 members ride threads of stupid shit. guaranteed laughs on every page. cut springs, rolled cars at 20mph, fishtank heater core, selling broken stuff, painting cars with paint brush, cheap wings, hella-flush and then there is Vlad, king of the eta M3Tags: None -
Why are you putting such small tires on your E36? -
Maybe he did a quick ninja edit, but since when was a 17" tire "small" on an E36? That's either stock or bigger than stock. I know my E46 has 16".
OP, I can't help you. I'd just pick a moderate summer tire that has some good tread wear. It is unlike that on a DD you will be unhappy with many of the mid-range tires on tirerack.-------------------------------------------------
