Deep dish wheel with meaty tire?

Im really having a tough time trying to decide how i want the look of my car and which wheels to buy. I love the race look with the meaty tire, but then a nice slammed e30 on 16x9s with a little stretch looks awesome too.

anyone running like a 15x8 with a meaty tire? pics please. do you think 15s with a deep dish is too small for the e30? anyone running a deep dish wheel WITH a meaty tire?

best example of a 15" deep dish I can think of is the Ronal LS which most guys run a 225 on, which looks 'meaty'. its a 7.5" wheel though.

yeah im thinking meaty tires only look good on race wheels. kosei etc.

because you may have just sold me on the new esm 002r 15x9 4"lip wheels with some meats

13's, 14's, 15's shouldn't lower a car if you choose the proper tire size.
Diameter will always be spot on or within a few mm considering tire manufacture.

OP, either you get normal width wheels with wide tires, or wide wheels with normal width tires. you cant have both. 15x9 is a terrible idea, either way.

I have a feeling there will be a steady stream of people moving away from stretch and poke to wide and beefy.

I just never understood the stretch and poke look, maybe its the hotrod/ratrod/muscle car in me that I grew up around. So you have nice wide rims, do it right and make them fit properly. If that means roll and pull or flares do it, or sell them.
