    245/45 on a 8.5 rim??

I have a set of m-parallels which the front had 235/40 however I got a really good deal on some 245/45 so what I really want to know is will that size clear my wheel well with no rubbing issues.

    Paging some E34 guys!

I would drop to a 245/35, I have 235/40 in the rear on mine. I plan on going to the 245/35 after these.

I have 245/40 on a set of 17X8 ACS reps and 225/40/18 adn 255/35/18 on another set of wheels.

Bigger width 45 series are not gonna work. Maybe in 16", but not 17 or 18.

I run 245/35 on my 9s et23 with no rubbing
I'd say drop down to a 40 at most for an e30

        Not sure about e34s though

I mounted the tire yesterday afternoon and it fits perfectly fine with no rubbing However I really dont like how they look the 45 series tire is too much on the side wall makes the rim look tiny.

Next time I'll go with a 245/35, but sadly these are the best used tires ever, they have more then half there life on them. :(
