BBS LM 124, how much offset change with reverse face mount

    hi guys,

    got a set of 18x8.5 (ET 30) on my E30 M3.

need to know if its safe to reverse mount the face and also how can i work out what the new offset will be?

    many thanks

I went to look at some last night...

The main, and pretty significant issue, you will have is that the the bolts in the wheel have a splined interface just under the bolt head. This fits into a broached spline in the disk. this is why the bolts dont have bolt heads.

So if you flip the barrel around you will have to use the bolts backwards or use a different bolt with a hex on it.

The barrel and disk interface uses no locating dowels etc other than the 7mm bolts, so it will work but it will look a little funny.

your new ET will be Current ET - thickness disk and mounting flange on barrel
