    Fitting problem!

This week I managed to get my hands on a set of BBS RS replicas, with brand new Falken ZIEX ZE912 tyres on them, for basically the cost of just the tyres.

Specs as follows, fronts are 17"x7.5j ET35 with 195/40ZR17 on them. Rears are stretched 17"x8.5j ET35 with 205/40ZR17 on them.

I thought I'd have a problem with the rears fitting, but they fit just fine. The problem is my fronts are hitting the suspension strut. What I did realise is that the previous owner/owners heated the springs up to lower the car, the result of which is some negative camber. Should I just replace the springs or is there something else I'm looking for?

I would def get those springs out of there. Replace them with a cheap used OEM set until you can get what you want.

Springs shouldn't be that much of an issue to get, new or used. Planning a switch to coilovers in the future. Should the springs solve my problem though? I really wouldn't like to use spacers although I do have some at hand.

You should be running a 10mm spacer front/rear to fit these correctly.

Considering the price I'm paying just got better, actually cheaper than the tyres themselves, I'm considering getting a similar type of replica with a ET20 instead of ET35, same specifications, just swap the tyres off and on.

I should be able to fit these without spacers, correct?

Yes the ET20 would be a perfect fit.

Hmm, thinking of maybe selling the ones I have and getting a set of these: http://www.wheelbasealloys.com/alloy...lished/16-inch

Says they're compatible, will it be with 9Js as rears?
