My tire went flat, is it still safe to drive?

Well my tire went flat 1 or 2 miles away from home. The ride was bumpy and I had flop noises. I think the wheel is about an inch or two from the ground. I left my car and walked back home because there was a lot of traffic and I didn't want to impede everyone's path.

There is a tire shop near my house so I could get it fixed there but I don't know if it's safe to drive it to home and there or I should just ask them to work on the car where it's parked right now.

    Any advice?

Get a spare 4x100 wheel with a tire on it, OR use fix a flat and test to see if it will hold any air at all, if it does, air it up, get it to the tire shop or your house whichever is closest. I would not recommend driving on the flat you have described.

Get a friend to take you to the car, remove the wheel. drive it to the tire shop, have them fix it. Go back to the car and put the wheel and tire back on.

Put your spare tire on, take damaged tire to the tire shop or better yet get yourself a radial tire plug kit and fix it yourself.

I don't have a spare tire. I guess I'll get one from the tire shop.

          Thanks!
