I would like to start off by saying that r3v is a sweet place so far and thanks to everyone for taking the time to post up some great content. I recently entered the e30 world with by picking up a 325is and I am looking to get new wheels for it. It is my DD and a few times a year I am able to autocross it. This being said I currently have bottle caps and need new tires so I have decided that I should look for new wheels to put new tires on. For my application I believe that I want a shorter sidewall and lighter wheels but besides that I do not know what else to look for in a performance wheel. This being said, what wheel would you guys suggest I check out? I am a college student so I cannot afford an $1200 set of bbs rims but I can defiantly eat the shit out of some ramen for a few more months to save up for a nice set of wheels… because racecar 8-).
