    New wheel Decision!!

I'm currently on my factory 14 inch but I'm looking for a change and don't know much about wheels. Can anyone help me with how wide I can go with a size 15 or 16 wheel?

IMHO, I reccommend 16x8 or 7, et 20, with a tire size of 215/40/16 up front and 16x9, et 15, tire size 225/45/16 for the rear. Bmw e30 bolt pattern is 4x100. Center bore is 57.1. Just my .02 cents.

It really depends on what your plans for the car are. 16's have terrible tire selection, especially if you are looking for performance.

        You can go wide.

        Here's my car with 16x9 et08 and 16x10 et08 with 205/45-16 and 225/40-16. I have to verify but I think I can go with 10.5x16 rear.

I am going 16x8 front and 16x9 rear
Haven't mounted them yet but basically what you need to decide on between 16 and 15 is how much tire you want under you

15s will be a little softer feeling because of the taller tires you'll get

16s will look a lot better and still have decent ride quality but just like he mentioned tire choices suck

          16x9 rear esm 002 with 225/45/16
16x8 front with 205/50/16 might change to 205/45/16 but my side wall on both these tires are almost exactly the same size
