    wheel spacer and hub ring?

I picked up a set of motegi mr7's 16 x7 with tires - 205/45/16's for my 1991 318i. The center bore diameter of the rims is 72.69mm. and the offset is 42mm.

I know (the hard way) that I will need spacers for caliper clearance, but has anyone run spacers AND hub rings?

Do I even need that kind of set up or will spacers from H&R or Rogue work?

You will have to run spacers (20mm) and hubcentric rings. to run those wheels.

Too much work to run a standard issue ricer wheel though IMO.

      why 20mm? Just wondering.
Using one of those offset calculators out there http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp don't show the need for that much.

I could have put the wrong numbers in the calc.

As far as the motegis - can't beat getting them for free (Legally) !!! They're in great shape and if they don't work out, I could always unload them.

        That calculator is worthless.

Unless you want your wheels tucked 3 inches inside your wheel wells then run 20mm spacers. You could actually run 22-25mm of spacer depending on the tire choice.
