    Pic Request: 16x8/16x9 on 205/45/16

I'm sure there are pics of this set up in a thread somewhere but my brain is a little fried after combing through the fitment thread and the 16" wheel thread. My plan is to run 205/45 all around on a staggered set of rims.

Anyone have pics of this wheel/tire combo preferably on an early model? I'm a little torn deciding on 205/45 or 215/40 for the rears.

    Thanks.

With 205/50/16 they did catch the fender a hair at full lock and going in and out of driveway with big dip. Ao i rolled em. With 205/45/16 that would be less likely unless you are super slammed.

Stretched tires look retarded (IMHO) and one of the main reasons that wheels get torn up with curbs!!! You loose all wheel protection with stretched tires. I was running 16x8 Rota Slips with 225/45/16's on my early model with no rubbing except at full lock. I am sitting on Billie Sports and Racing Dynamics Green springs for a total drop of about 2 inches.

what kind of offset are you going to run?

I ran 205/40/16 on a 16x9 on a late model but i was running an insane -9 offset.

                rubbed alot with stock quarters

Thanks for the replies guys. I ended up with 205/45/16 Yokohama S drives all around. Front has barely any stretch, and rear has some but definitely less than some other ones I've seen.

                    I'll post some pics soon.
