    fixing damaged polished lip

I have a set of bbs ra's I picked up really cheap a while back, and it is finally time to refinish them, when they were removing the tires, they damaged the polished lip on one of the rims, I am not quite sure how to go abouts repairing this. Here is a pic, any suggestions would be great

The aluminum is just scratched right? If it isn't too bad of a scratch, you could just sand it out and re-polish the lips. If it's bad, then you could fill it with weld, but you would have to take it to someplace that can weld aluminum. Then sand it smooth/flush and re-polish.
