    no offset wheels

I'm looking to buy wheels from Jlinewheels.com

I'm thinking of a 17x8 wheel with a 0mm offset in rear and 5mm offset in the front. (minor staggered look)

I know that they will fit, but how much are they gonna stick out? Any fender rubbing issues? And what kind of lip am i lookin at here?

They wont fit because any lower than 20 offset and the tires will rub. Zero offset and the fenders will practically hit the MIDDLE of the tread.

yeah you will have some lip w/ those inch and half probably, if you can wait until friday or monday my jlines will be here. if you call jline they can actually get you the maximum lip w/out wheel poke. I'd just find the proper offsets for the wheel size you want to run though. Don't sacrifice the correct size in order to have more dish. performance w/ the benefits of looks is ideal.

                    thanx guys.
Update: i've talked to a representative for Jline

they said that with 17x8 wheels, i'd need to run a min of 30mm offset. and that would give me a 2" to 2.5" dish lip
that's crazy! in a good way. is it possible however? how thick are the spokes of the 20RL2?

MRK: What is the width of the wheels you're running??

DrMcDave: What wheels did you get? and when u get them, i'd love to see pics. How long did you wait for them? Who did you go through to get them or did you go straight to them directly?

Thanx alot guys for the help

Look at it this way: you're better off getting the wheels with a higher numerical offset and adding spacers if necessary to clear suspension components.
As far as suspension geometry goes, you want wheels of that width as far "in"(higher offset) as possible.

That's mostly fake dish. See how the spokes sweep in?

                        17x8 ET 30? I don't think so. ET 25 is ideal on E30's.

You're going to have about 1" of poke with that setup.
