Am i Going Crazy? 195/40/16 tires???

I have been looking for about 2 hours and can not find any wheels in these specs, besides yokohams S drives... i see that Falken is no longer making 512 or 912's. No dunlops nothing...
Does anyone know where i can find anything besides the yoko ones, or any other ideas?

Why do you want such short tires?

A friend of mine has a set of Marangoni tires in 195/40/16 on some old wheels. I don't know if they still sell that size but you might want to Google them.

Check VWVORTEX or a Honda forum. That tire size is popular on VWs and Civics.

Are you trying to make a lightweight spare tire ?

Run what you want to run. Most likely the ride will be shit, but you should find out for yourself.

Too small not only for looks, but load ratings too. I'm all about stretch (205 on 9.5, 245 on 11, 285 on 12, etc are all different daily setups of mine) but you have to keep an eye on how much weight the tire can hold. 195/40s are not up to par.

keep in mind that is mounted on a 7.5in wide rim

thats on a 8in wide rim. the inner side wall sits at about a 60 degree the outer 65. these tiers do this because of a reinforced inner shoulder and side wall to resist camber wear witch seems to have worked thay sit at 3.5 degrees on the front and i have seen about a 2/32 difference across the tier.

                              just because lol
