Broken/ over tightened wheel lug bolt.

I over tightened two of my wheel bolts on the rear. I've used an easy out many times but it's not working out too well. So, my question is if I remove the rear rotor/brake drum would I have access to the bolt from the inside of the brake drum? Enough to grip some vise grips on it.

You can try, if not you'll have to drill it out.

If the head of the bolt broke off, the stud should just unscrew out by hand, unless you cross threaded it.

P.S. - Using a torque wrench to tighten your lugs is the proper way to do it and will prevent this.

All the studs are flush with the rotor that's why I was wondering if removing the rotors would actually help.
