Help me decide what wheels to get!

Okay, bottlecaps aren't doing it for me anymore. I want some new wheels to fit on 1985 325e. I would prefer to get 16 or 17's and depending on which wheel size I get will tell me which springs to get. I plan on getting Billie sports, and either H&R race (if I get 16's) or H&R Sports (if I get 17's).

The fitment I am looking is similar to this, with the top of the rear tire hidden by the fender just a little bit, and the top of the tire on the front just barely visible.

I've been reading through wheel threads recently and noticed people like 16x9 for wheel size on their e30. Does that require much modification? And can I get that look with the suspension set up I want?

With the logic that 16x9 should fit, I decided that if I wanted 17's, that 17x8 would be a good size. But I also read that few people think 17's look good on e30's.

As for the color of the wheels, I want as close to white as i can, but silver. I think Apex's color similar to what I want is called Race Silver.

Also, the wheels have to be 4x100 lug because I'm not ready to do a 5-lug conversion. If I did do a five lug swap, I'd get style 32, or style 22 wheels.

I like Apex arc-8's, But I dont like how "flat" they are, if that makes sense.

I like Apex ec-7's even more, because they aren't flat, but are concave. But as far as i understand, they don't come in 4-lug?

I'd be okay with the arc-8's and their lack on concavity if the rims had more of a lip on them.

I've seen BBS rims with the similar look, and a little bit of the lip, but I dont like how they have the bolts on the outside with this style.

That being said, does anyone have any suggestion as to what wheels I should get for my car? I'd like to buy them used, so I hope they are relatively easy to come by.

I'm open to any suggestions on wheels! Not just the ///M csl style rims, although if there is one that fits my criteria I'd get that.

Thanks in advance! if none of this makes sense, I'd be happy to clarify

XXR 530's look similar to the Arc 8's but are more concave like the EC-7's, hopefully the look of multi-fits don't bother you.

    (derrty 30's setup)
My roommate has the 10" on his 240sx and they are deliciously dished. They only come in black, gold, and chrome black (sexy).
As far as getting the fitment you want, I'm not sure. I'm still a noob.
