Proper way to seal RSs with an inverted lip?

I finished sealing up a set of RSs a few days ago and finally got a tire mounted to all 4 of them. One of the tires didn't hold air for more than 2 minutes. Another one takes a few hours to lose all the air inside of it. Fortunately, the other two seem to be fine at the moment, but they've only been on for a day, so we'll see if they hold air. But if I did it way wrong the first time, I'd rather redo all of them the right way.

The way I did it the first time was a bead between the faces and barrel. Put the lip on, torqued all the bolts, and laid down another bead 'inside' where all 3 meet (there's not really a "valley" because of the lip). Then another bead a day later.

My only guess to do it properly would be a bead between the barrel and faces, another between the faces and lip, torque everything down, then a final bead where they all meet on the outside. Then go over the final bead again a day later. I'm just worried that it would leak again.

I can't really go the route of dry assembling followed by seal with these so someone could help out, that'd be great .

don't put ANYTHING between the sealing surfaces.. clean them all up, fully assemble and torque them down THEN fill the seam from the inside.. do one coat and "smooth" it out with your finger to make sure it gets down inside the groove good then (however long it takes to dry) later apply a second coat... make sure your using a good sealer also

If you do it like stated above they will not leak. Nothing in between the mating surfaces

If I'm honest, a few hours after I posted this and saw no response, I ended up doing it the way where I put a bead of silicone between everything, torqued all the bolts down, and siliconed the outside where they all meet just because I saw a tutorial where someone else who had an inverted lip did it that way. They've been on the car since Wednesday night, and so far they're all holding 32PSI. Maybe not the conventional or cleanest way, but it worked for me.

If I wasn't on a time constraint, or if they leak again, I'd do it by method of dry torquing.
