    BBS Basketweaves Quiz.

    Updated with your answers

I did a search, came up with varied answers, and a few "I think"...

Looking for specs on e30 4x100 factory rims.

    14x6.5 offset is__et30_____. Wt. is _14 lbs_____.

15 IX weaves are __7"___wide with ___et41____ offset. They weigh__15lbs__.

    Euros are 15 x __7______ with ___ET24_____ offset. They weigh__15lbs____.

IX weaves need spacer of __3_____ mm up front, and none in rear, to fit RWD e30's.

    Jsut for fun:

Bottlecaps came in ___14_____x____6____ with __ET35___ offset, and weigh__14__.

Steelies on e30's? (Mystikal sez: Steelies are typically made for the 4x100 VW's, but fit our cars easily due to their narrow width. Unlimited options there for sizing, look around.)

    and
These and ___the 6-spoke ones with a little dish, 15x7 ET24 (Style 10?)______ are the only factory rims from BMW. Excludes Alpina,Schnitzer, etc.

Bonus: N00bs average ___TOO MANY____ stupid questions about fitment. (game goes to King)

          Class president reporting.

          14x6.5" Basketweaves - ET30 - ~14lbs
          15x7" Basketweaves - ET24 - ~15lbs
          15x7" iX Basketweaves - ET41 - ~15lbs
          14x6" Bottlecaps - ET35 - ~14lbs

iX weaves need a 3mm spacer up front and nothing in the rear to mount RWD E30s.

Steelies are typically made for the 4x100 VW's, but fit our cars easily due to their narrow width. Unlimited options there for sizing, look around.

The only other factory wheels are the 6-spoke ones with a little dish, 15x7 ET24. I don't remember the style number because I don't like them.

          Conclusion? JFTW.

            I think they're Style 10.
