stock bottle caps need tires, suggestions?

I just aquired an 86 325 and the tires are bad (sat for too long). the tires on the car are 215/60/r14. I am wondering what the best size tire is to run on the car. currently it is on stock suspension and has the OEM wheels on it as well. just want a nice tire that is sporty and not $$$. I searched for the 215's and noticed there were only 1-2 options. thanks for any help you can provide!

Stock size is 195/65. 215 is a bit much, 205 is probably the most tire i'd try and fit on a x6

You can also go with a 205/60/14. I plan on doing 195/60/14 on mine. It's just a tad smaller diameter then stock.

thanks guys. that was going to be my next question if I went with 205. thanks for the quick replies. anyone recommend a good sport tire in that size? I bet there are not a lot of options in that size either. tirerack has one kind of tire for it and it is a race tire... hmm

I have 205s on the stock bottlecap 14s, they are fine. Alloy 4x100s are fairly cheap, so you could look at buying new 16s in order to get a wider (larger assortment of) tire selection.

Just go with stock 195/65/14 tires. Falken 912 is a good cheap option.

I have been unable to find an H rated tire in the stock 195/65-14. 912 would work but no one has stock and I bet they are discontinued.
