    Front fender liners....keep or toss?

    Pros? Cons?

I once heard a guy say that if you remove your fender liners, that on the freeway, a rock can hit your fenders so hard that it will dent your front wheel wells that you'll see the dent on the top side when you open the hood. I think that's BS.

What say R3V? (of the people that actually have deleted them)

I have mine removed. On a slightly sandy/small gravel road, I can hear the slight pinging of it hitting the underside of the fender. There is no way a tire could pick a particle that is large enough to dent the fender. Maybe if you were running a sticky compound, but who DD's with race tires.

All I have left is the front portion that holds the brake ducts and I think those are going away soon too. No issues with gravel and I live in a town built on gravel/sand and rock.
