Tire recommendations for my new euro weaves

Spring is here and I need to get my studs off. I have a 91 318is and I just bought some 15x7 Euro weaves. My suspension is stock and will probably be staying that way for another year.

Can anyone recommend some good sporty tires? No rubberbands please. Long tread life is a plus as I'm a delivery driver, but I want something with a lot of grip. The car will see very little rain so I'm not looking for an "all weather" type of tire. Also what would be a good size? 205/55?


Right now I am looking at Dunlop SP Sports, what do you suggest? Are these a good tire? Do they even make them in a size that'll fit?

I would like to keep it $130 and under per tire.

OK now i'm also looking at BFGoodrich G-Force Sports - any opinions on these?

Toyo Proxes TPT if you want long tread life. I used to have them and they came with a 60,000 mile warranty on them. Pretty damn good traction too, esp in the wet.

205/55/15 is the recommended tire size for that rim.

I have the BFG g-force sports in 215/50/15 on 15x7.5 ronals... very satisfied... great handling, relatively quiet... 205/55/15's should be fine.

225/50/15 BFGoodrich G-Force Sports. Excellent tire, and the 225 width will easily fit under your arches.

those TPTs are the best combo of grip/treadwear/cost I've had. Awesome if you're on a budget.

I went with the BF G Force Sports but man they were a PINA to find. Only found one retailer which could order them with only a reasonable amount of wait time.
