    Wheel restoration

I have a set of Alpina 16x8 rims and caps I want stripped, refinished, all the chips taken out, and repainted completely, not just the outer more visible half.

These are intended for my Z1 so, I'd like them to be done very nicely.

I know a lot of people DIY, but I really don't have time.

I've had wheels for street cars that are driven daily and I don't care too much about redone locally, but they have not really been done nicely, ie only partially repainted, the outer half of the barrel etc...

I'm not adverse to shipping these, but I'm not really sure who to trust.

I also have a pair of my Z1 rims bent, and want them unbent, and I assume, that will require repaint. As there is a plastic cap in the middle, I'm not sure if the practice is to send the cap too, or trust the paint will match. Maybe they repaint the cap too?

Appreciate advice for shops people have used that are worth sending these rims to.

Yeah, def a club member. Been instructing and racing for years, but focus and connections are more performance oriented.

I am very happy to ship these to a place that people who have experienced a good outcome.

So, hoping for some references from people really happy with outcome.

Espo's Powdercoating refinished my Alpina wheels to better than new condition. I used a 'Porsche silver' and semi-gloss clear, since I felt like a glossy finished didn't look true to how they were new. Tom did a phenominal job on my wheels, and fixed all the corrosion/bubbling & curbage as well as bends before powdercoating.
