    Track wheels

Building my first track car at the moment should have 300+HP, and looking into getting some rota grid 15x7 +20 wheels because they are light and cheap.
My question is will 205/50/15 semi slick tyres offer enough.
or should i get 15x8 +0, and run a wider tyre.

With that kind of HP you're going to have a hard time putting power down with tyres that narrow. I'd seriously look at these in 15x8 with 225/45 series rubber: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/resul...rSpecial=false

Additionally, if you've done a swap, you'll need to look at a fat front sway bar, and dialing in some negative front camber. Otherwise, the car is going to push like crazy and drive you nuts. I have the Ground Control Touring plates up front: http://www.ground-control-store.com/...hp/II=859/CA=6
These give you great performance with a very street friendly ride quality (minimal NVH).

Thanks for the info I have ordered 15x8 et20 rota grids that weigh about the same as the above and getting some Yokohama A050 225/50/15

Yeah I've got a 25mm front sway going in, and front camber/caster plates

Youre definitely going to want a 225 series tire on an 8" wheel for that amount of power. Anything smaller and you'll find corner exits difficult.

          M42 turbo build.

HAHA, yes 225/45/16 Yokohama's for sure,
Im really hoping that 16x8 et20 rota grid classic will clear Willwoods BBK Front and rear, even if i have to run a 20mm spacer.
