    Appropriate tire sizes for Kopi's

Going to have a set very soon and i need to purchase tires. Im almost set on a set of 215 40 17 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's [have a set on my 15's and love em]

But a friend of mine has a set of 225 45 17 F1 GSD3's that are used but have no more then a thousand miles on them. Not sure what he wants but they are worth looking into. Rolling the fenders is no biggy, but i wonder if that size will rub on the strut.

Any other suggestions on tires welcome, thanks!

215 40 17 is what RCWells recommended me use for mine. He said his doesn't rub but I don't know about 225 45 17

215/40/17 is the correct size. 225/45/17 is gonna be a lil oversize...speedo will read slower than actual.

225/45/17 will rub if you are lowered significantly.

It's not the strut you gotta worry about. It's the fender liners (and fenders themselves, of course).

225/45 is taller (25.1" tall, more than an inch over stock)

235/40 is only a half inch taller than stock (24.5 " tall)

Yeah, I told and then convinced his ass to do it.

Wonder if and how much it's rubbing.
