    What size tire for 15x8

Hey I'm looking at buying some 15x8 wheels and am trying to decide on tires. I'd like something with a bit of meat to them but not to much. Would 225/50/15 serve the purpose? I was thinking about having a little stretch with a 205/55/15 or even a 195/55/15. What looks best on 15x8?

225/50r15 is too tall and will look terrible

225/45r15 won't stretch, it's a beefy tire for an 8, looks good, will fit fine if your offsets are around -20

205/50r15 will have medium stretch and works better with low-offset wheels

225/50/15 says it will be a little smaller in diameter then oem. Il probably be getting a wheel with an offset of 20 possibly 15

205/50-15 also has the best selection and best cost IMO

225/50/15 is NOT too small. That's a correct height tire to match the original wheel/tire diameter. It's a size that was very commonly run before the "stance" life took over. It's getting hard to find a decent tire in that size though now. Another option to retain correct diameter is 205/55/15.

A lot of 15" people run the 205/50 or 225/45 size but it's a little undersized on height. It's all about personal preference. If it were me I'd pass on the 195/55 though.
