225's on bottlecaps

What size spacers do I need to use 225's on bottlecaps? A race car at work has bottlecaps with 225/50's on bcaps with spacers but I cant take the wheels off to see what size spacers it has. Who can tell me? Mostly I'm just curious. Tell me what sidewall heighth I would need to use too.

Eventually I want wider tires. Especially for autox. Plus I like the fuh raze points I get for having 225's.

Local Pro3 racers run 225/50-14 RA-1 on bottlecaps. Some don't need spacers and others do, most I have seen needed is 1/4" though.

i was plannin on running that on my e30 too. but the market for 14" tires is so bad, there were almost no options. ...what brand are you thinking of running? i just took an oppertunity to upgraded to 15" rims last weekend... i'm gonna be lookin for good 225 or larger summer tires in about one month. ...i'm gonna run as large of spacers as possible, get the outside tire walls as close to the inside of the fender lip as possible, aethetics ya know, maybe roll the fender lips too. i hear people fit 245 on the rear with the right rims/offsets

Yea, almost no options. The only options you have in 14" rim size is 195/60s. I dunno.
