    Wheel help

Hi I have a Massive 300x32mm BBK and wanted to get some 17x8 Apex Arc-8 wheels for my 84, I was wondering if they would clear the bbk without any camber, I don't mind rolling my fenders but do not want any camber. Also what size tires would fit the car with these wheels? Or I can just get some Kosei K4R that will fit the bbk which i don't really want

I used to have the ARC-8 on my car with my UUC 300mm BBK and had plenty of clearance.

I'm not sure how camber relates to brake clearance though...

I ran 215/40/17 tires on mine but for a beefy setup some go with 235/40/17.

Sounds like a personal issue.....Call Blunt?

Send Lee a email. He's super helpful. Nice guy, doesn't bite. I assume.

Also he usually has printable clearance templates for his set ups.

This is what I received from Apex:
        Randy,

My staff tested the brakes against our 17x8" ET25 ARC-8's and this was his finding:

"Tested this one and it does not fit without a spacer, outer edge of the caliper touches the spokes. The template fits with a 5mm spacer but it is very very close, probably would need something a little bigger."

With a 5mm spacer, you'd need to run negative camber in front for it to clear the fenders properly. Since it is very close, if the template is any different from the actual production kit, it can mean that the real kit would still make contact, requiring an even larger spacer to clear the spokes, and thus would make the fitment very difficult to achieve. Let me know if you had any other questions.

        Best,

A 5mm spacer is no big deal. ET20 is still a very reasonable offset and no you don't need to adjust your camber.

So I can run them with 235/40/17 with just a fender roll?
