56.1 to 57.1 Centerbore wheel spacer

Do they exist? I just picked up some rather ugly (rattle can, several times over) Team dynamics wheels, 16x7 E35 (might fit offset wise,) but they appear to be the Honda/Acura/any other japanese car centerbore (56.1) I know they can be bored out, but I was curious if I chould simply find a hub centric wheel spacer that is tapered so that I can kill 2 birds with one stone, get the tire further away from the strut, and make the wheels fit the hub size?

Does anyone make them? anyone have a link>

    Thanks.

It'd be custom, but yes you can do it. To get to a smaller hub size, it'll have to be a big spacer, though.

I would prefer to get them turned. 16x7 ET35 actually fits pretty well with coilovers.

hm i'm guessing "custom" will eat up the savings I got on these ugly wheels. I got the car 2 weeks ago as a track day (buttonwillow) car to help hone my skills for 24 hours of lemons, ( we run an e36 in that ). I'm guessing a machine shop is where I'd go to get them bored out? or a high end tire shop? I could just run a hubless spacer and eliminate the centric part entirely but that'd be quite a thick spacer, and may cause me to snap the lug bolts around one of the more high speed corners which would be bad.

That the wheels to a wheel repair shop and they can can the centerbore 1.0mm. I had some wheels that were 56.6 cut to 57.1 and the wheels slide on perfectly.

so I found a shot that will be it for 15 bucks a wheel, provided I unmount the tires first.

So by eye balling the tires that are on the wheels right now that these are going to clear the shocks front and rear by a cats whisker. the tires are 16x7 however they are only 205 tires, so I'm curious as to how large of spacers to get, if I get a 5mm spacer can I get away with non hubcentric ones since the hub centric section on the wheel hub is 13mm. how big can I go without being hub centric? also, given the 35 offset of these wheels what is the ideal spacer thickness that will let me run the largest tire.
