Yoko S Drive VS Dunlop DZ102

    Hey R3v,

I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the Dunlop DZ102 tires...

I have Yoko S Drives and they were great new, but got noisy at the end and lasted 20k miles. Anyone have experience with the Dunlops? Curious about those.

    Thanks!

My experience with S.drives was similar, but they weren't on a BMW.

I just put a set of DZ102s on Klaus, though only because they came on the wheels I bought. I've only put about 50 miles on them, and so far I'm totally nonplussed. With their tread wear rating so high they will probably dry rot before I get half their life out of them.

I had s.drives on my miata a few years ago. I was completely underwhelmed. Considering their treadwear rating and life, the grip was poor. I have since had Falken Zeix 912's and BFGoodrich Sport Comp 2's, and have been much happier with both.
