SERIOUS wheel cleaner?

I use Sulfuric Acid to clean wheels, jams, in and around emblems etc at work.

Mist it on, brush it around, and fully wash away. Cleans just about anything out of every last nook and cranny. Wont damage cured paints unless you leave it on or dont wash it off completely.

Heh, what concentration. I have a feeling my sulfuric acid and yours might vary just a bit ;)

Jordan, I'm curious if you use the same stuff I use. Is it purple? We get giant barrels of purple really strong acid wheel cleaner from **Meguirs, I believe**.

It cleans REALLY well, but we try not to let it stay on M wheels long. Nor polished or chrome. But it is fanastic on painted boys.

I think we got the Meguirs Detailer's Line, purple stuff smells funny too. Looks like Grape Drink, burns like a mother fucker.....

There is not a single strong acid that is purple without something else dissolved in it.

Kris, duh. But what I was asking is was the product he uses is purple? We used to dilute our stuff 50/50 too, but we found out it was weaker..... :twisted: so now full strength.

Hmmm 50% concentration of a strong acid...... 5 x 10^-1 H+.......pH = ? somewhere close still to 1......:shock: that would be strong

anyway, I'm not sure what acid the product I use contains. maybe it is sulfuric. the product most definately uses a strong as fuck acid, and has perfume and color added. Cleans wheels well.....

The stuff i use has no color and no perfume.

It burns the lungs and or nose if you breathe the mist in

Well damn. Yeah, so Jordon uses the hardcore straight up H2S04, diluted 50%. :shock:

That would be some Serious wheel cleaner alright!
