What size should I go with?

I have 225/50/15 tires..should I go with 15x7 or 15x8 wheels? They're both et15..I don't want any poke, so I'm a little hesitant about getting the 15x8..any imput? Pictures would help too, if you're running these sizes..thanks

Et20 would fit better with either size wheel.

I'm picking up some ESM's, they only come in et15 for 15" wheels..you saying et15 may rub?

I have 16" esm's with an et20 in the front and et15 in the rear. I hammered my fender lips flat and had no issues rubbing even with 4 people in my car. Then again I have 205/45 on the fronts and 215/40 on the rear

I went with 15x7 to be safe and have room to work with

            This website is useful:

That tire size would fit perfectly on a 7" wide wheel. 8" would be at the upper limit and might be stretched a bit. Tire width really does vary from brand to brand though. I'd go narrower so as to have less issues with rubbing. You can always get a thin spacer if you want them closer to the fender lip.

Go with 15x8, mine are 0 offset with 215/60's and cant rock them because offset is to far out, still slightly poked. The tire brands differ as well, Toyos are wide. but most times 225's on 8 wide are perfect.
