    bbs rs advice

Whats up all. A guy in my area is selling these for 1500neg. No centers. whats in the pictures is what I get. Since i know little about BBS Rs I would like to know if this is a good deal and how well they will fit on my e30 M3. Ive been told i will need to run a 10mm spacer in front.

Also i have the opportunity to pick up a set of bbs 061 022 in 16x8 and 16x9 for about 1k obo. Prefect fit for the e30 m3. they are kind of rough and will need to be reconditioned.

I want to be able to throw the car around a little so i don't think an 11 in the rear will be too ideal. thoughts?

The second set is the better option, although tire sizing will be a little pain. I say use the extra $500 to recondition them to your liking and be done.

$1500 without center caps or waffles isnt that great of a deal, youd probably need more then a 10mm spacer to clear the strut too

second set isnt really worth $1k either..

RS's aren't the "cool wheels to have" this year so you can get them fairly cheap rite now.. check craigslist theres a few sets in NJ/PA for pretty good prices

The first set are off a vette, and no way you are getting a 9.5" wheel up front with any sort of tire.

Why don't you get E39 Style 5's? Wouldn't they be much cheaper?

You could swap the lips on the 16" RS put the big lip on the front and smaller on the rear.

Then run them opposite so fronts in back and rear up front. Guy from Boston area has his set up that way. They come out close to 8.5 each.
