    Beyern Mesh wheels

Any opinions on Beyern Mesh wheels for a 1988 E30?I'm looking for a new set of wheels for my V8 swap e30. Its a street car not interested in running spacers and had a bad experience with lug centric rims with adaptor rings so I don't really trust them. Looking for a wheel that's not going to shimmy the steering wheel or have my dashboard bouncing up and down on the highway.
    Anyone run these? Opinions?

No knowledge on the Beyern Mesh but when I was looking for that style I ended up going with a set from discount tire direct. They were made in e30 fitment so no spacer issues and single pattern drill. Took some time to grow on me but I definitely like them for what I paid. So heres another option for you...

Discount Tire Direct is retiring, but check out our partners at Tire Rack! With tires and wheels for virtually every vehicle make and model, Tire Rack is your new source for the best prices and selection for online and mail-order purchases.

(their pic shows 5 lug, they come in 4 lug)

I've been running a set of the 15x7 for about 3 years now. I keep my tires rotated every 3k miles and so far still feel balanced. I really like them, and I'm considering getting a set of 17's in the future.

What size 15" tires are you running. I originally was considering 15's because there are so many affordable drag radials offered in that size. Recently I've read you can fit a wider tire on an e30 with 16 &17" rims.

Looks nice. Mine is red I'm stuck between silver or charcoal with a polished lip. How do you post pictures on this site? I keep getting an error, maybe my post count is to low?

I do it two ways depending on which site its hosted on.

Photos on photobucket I click on the picture, on the right side there is a share link section. I click on the "IMG" url and it copies itself and I paste it here.

Photos on Flickr, click on the picture, theres a curvy arrow pointing right that is below the picture. Click it, BBcode, normally size large 1024x659 and copy that url link. Copy and paste

When doing pictures I always bring up the Go Advanced mode of posting so I can preview it first.

I'm running 205/50's, they are a tad small, they recommend 205/55's. But the selection of tires what much better in the 50 series than the 55.

I'm going to have serious traction issues with 205's do you think you have room for anything wider in the rear or is the 205 the widest option with the 15's?

Ya know I never really looked. I saw a set of 205/50's on another guys car and liked the way it looked on the wheel. You could possibly run a 215, I suppose... But like I said, I'm happy with my setup and didn't do any looking past that.

I think guys with the 17" Beyerns running a 215/40/17 if I recall correctly.

Beyern makes a very good wheel. My cousin has a set on his 2006 5 series and their fit and finish are impeccable. I will say they are a little pricey though and they may be a wheel almost as good for a lot less money.

Did you ever lower it? I'm also now looking at the 15x7. They seem quite reasonably priced on Bavauto now at $145 each now.
