    Aftermarket wheels form a passat

    Friend of mine had a 91 Passat, sold it, and his wheels are up for sale. Speedline Corse, 17x7.5



    It says et35 on them, so I would assume I'd need 10mm spacers all around to make em fit, right?

    My other concern was the centerbore. We put one wheel on my car, and it seemed to fit for the most part (the car was jacked up pretty high on jackstands so the wheel was at a different angle, I'd assume it would rub the strut housing if the car was on the ground, hence the spacer).

    the center bore seemed pretty darn close.

    I checked vwvortex, and it appears the passat is a 57mm centerbore.

    can I do anything to run these wheels?

    If it fits in the air, then the wheel itself wont interfere with the strut at any time. The tire might rub though. I would go with a small spacer.

      I've rocked 16x7.5 et20 before. 15mm spacer would suit.

      Centerbore on those mid90s 4-lug passat/jettas are 57.1 and therefore, work. It's how Rosica rocked those 17" K1s and why I bought and owned 15mm H&R spacers for a while.

        Centerbore is the same. e30 hubs are 57 mm as are these Passat ones.

        The Centerbore on the wheels for each are 57.1 to give them that little pinch of room to fit.

              10 = 7.5 et 25. 15 = 7.5 et 20.

              et20 was right at the freaking fender and needed a little camber and loving to work with a 205
