    Tires for bottlecaps becoming extinct?

I am in need of tires for the rear of my E30. I called the local shop I have always gotten tires from (Falken Ziex 912's) and they told me those tires were discontinued. And the replacement doesn't come in that size. AND that there wasn't a major manufacturer who had my tire size 195/65-14 or even the 205/60/14.

He said I could run the private label tires, which are the inhouse tire brands. I am not keen on this. Another shop said the only tire they could find was a Falken SN211.

Has anyone else seen this? What are you guys doing for new tires?

    Buying bigger wheels.

There are a couple choices in 185/70-14. If you can accept the weird look, there will be more choices in 195/60-14.

I'd rather not buy different wheels. But there definitely more options in 15.

I'm running the right size in the front. If i ran a 60 profile in the rear, wouldn't it negatively affect the car's handling? I'd be looking at buying all 4 tires then...

Probably the most agressive street rubber you can get for bottlecaps

I have run different sizes and treads front vs. back on my vert for years without any significant issue, so two at a time could work, but yeah, 4 would be best.
